As a psychologist, I believe that gaining insight into ourselves is vital in exploring and understanding our own unique experiences and views of the world. I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults in exploring their own mental health concerns in a holistic and client-centered approach. 

Background

I am a Provisionally Registered Psychologist who has been employed in the mental health field for over a decade. I have extensive experience working for Alberta Health Services and private organizations as a therapist, where I have provided individual, family, couples, and group counselling.

I specialize in addressing concerns including: addiction, anxiety, ADHD, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), PTSD and trauma, conduct issues, and grief, bereavement.

I approach therapy from a person-centered and trauma-informed lens. I believe developing a safe and healthy therapeutic relationship to be very important in treatment, and I tailor my approach to my clients’ individual needs. 

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Exposure and Response Prevention, Solution Focused therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy.
