Kristin Matthews
R.Psych, M.C.
As a Registered Psychologist, I am passionate about helping adults and teens who are ready to experience meaningful change.

Background
I have extensive experience working in private practice addressing the many unique concerns of my clients. As a psychologist, I specialize in working with teens and adults individually, as couples, and as families. My approach to counselling involves working with my client’s many strengths while using evidence-based practices. I believe that counselling should feel authentic, safe, and collaborative.
Prior to my work in private practice, I provided single-session counselling for Calgarians within a community services setting. I have managed health prevention and addiction counselling programs across Alberta. I have also designed and delivered counselling programs for workplaces across Alberta and the Northwest Territories. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I continue to offer counselling for front-line healthcare providers.
When I am not counselling, I value outdoor adventures with my family including biking, paddle boarding, and camping in the summers and skiing in the winters.
