Kristin Matthews, Owner
R.Psych, M.C.
As a Registered Psychologist and the proud owner of KM Counselling, I am passionate about helping adults and teens who are ready to experience meaningful change.
Background
I started KM Counselling because of my love of working directly with clients who are ready to experience meaningful change.
I have built my practice coming from years of experience in a variety of settings including private practice, community single-session counselling, and addiction and health prevention management. I have also designed and delivered counselling programs for workplaces across Alberta and the Northwest Territories.
My approach to counselling involves working with my client’s many strengths while using evidence-based practices. I believe that counselling should feel authentic, safe, and collaborative.
When I am not counselling, I value outdoor adventures with my family including biking, paddle boarding, camping, skiing, and travel.
