Alexandra Brad
Registered Provisional Psychologist
My first interest in therapy started at a young age when I realized I had a passion for helping people discover more about themselves. I understand therapy is intimidating and you may feel like you need to show up in a certain way. This is why I provide a safe therapeutic space where I invite you to be the most authentic version of yourself and I will bring my most genuine self as well.
Whether you are trying to find clarity in life decisions, healing past or current wounds, navigating personal struggles, or just need a safe space to talk, I am here to meet you where you are. I use a collaborative approach to the counselling process that is tailored to your unique situation while also providing comfort, laughter, and directness. I integrate evidence-based practices to help empower you to dig deeper within yourself. I believe that everyone has the strength within themselves, but sometimes need a little push to bring it out.

Background
I have direct experience providing in-person and virtual counselling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups using evidence-based practices. I have trained in a teaching counselling clinic which has allowed me to gain a wealth of knowledge from a highly experienced team, and I have additional training and experience in a crisis support role.
In my free time you can find me at the gym, unwinding with my dogs, or getting lost in a great romance movie (I can never resist a happy ending).
