Rates
KM Counselling fees for psychological services are reflective of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta’s recommended fee schedule.
50-minute appointments with a Registered Psychologist are $225/session.
50-minute appointments with a Registered Provisional Psychologist are $200/session.
Methods of Payment
Fees are to be paid in full at the time of the appointment. Direct billing is not currently offered.
The following forms of payment are accepted: credit card or e-transfer.
Insurance Coverage
Fees for private practice psychological services are not covered by Alberta Health Care at this time. However, most health benefits and health spending accounts offer coverage for services provided by Registered Psychologists. Please check with your benefits provider for details. Fees not reimbursed by insurance can be deducted as medical expenses on your income tax return.
KM Counselling provides a receipt for paid psychologist services which you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
